Each of us is given different abilities that we can use to benefit one another.  It is up to us to recognize and develop these talents.

We are expected, but not forced, to use these gifts to benefit others and fulfill God's Mission.

"Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.

                                                                                  1 Peter 4:10

 Why is Stewardship IMPORTANT?

...because our lives have real meaning only when we use our gifts in accordance with God's will.

OUR FULFILLMENT

lies in responding obediently to God's purpose for us, and making full use of the gifts our Creator has given us.

AS CHRISTIAN STEWARDS WE CAN

- develop our full potential as human beings.

- show our gratitude for God's many gifts.

- help restore the world and the human community.

- grow spiritualy and become more like Christ.

All congregations "NEED ACTIVE STEWARDS" -- people who give not just their money but themselves.

EVERYONE, from youngsters to the elderly, has a special contribution to make, so share yours with our congregation here at St. Aloysius Parish.

HOW can I GIVE MYSELF to God's Work?

Put God at the center of your life, and use the blessings given toyou to fulfill the divine plan for you and for the world.

RECOGNIZE

- that time and talent are precious gifts entrusted to you by God, and respond gratefully by using them wisely, for the benefit of others and to fulfill God's mission.

ACCEPT

- God's mission for you and let your life be guided by God's will, not your own personal desires and impulses.

MAKE THE MOST of your time

and give of it generously to God and others.  We have more leisure time today than ever before - we must use it wisely!

DO THE BEST YOU CAN

in everything you do.  Dedicate your daily work to God, whether in your paying job, raising your family, volunteer work, or other constructive activity.

DEVELOP your talents to the fullest

so that you can use them to benefit the world.  Your abilities will grow with use; unused they may wither away.

BECOME an open channel

through which God's love and care can flow to the earth.  Selfishness blocks this flow.  Commitment to the will of God increases it.
