MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission Statement of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church

We, the People of God who gather at St. Aloysius Catholic Church express our communion with the whole Church in every land, time and condition.  In our communion, we rejoice and proclaim to all that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, who brings salvation and life to all.

Partakers of the Divine Life through our Baptism, and adopted as God’s children through Christ and in the Spirit, we acknowledge our commission to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to all.

We are one in the Mystery of Faith and empowered by the grace of God, we commit ourselves to:

v    The Worship of God through ritual and life, celebrating and proclaiming the wonders of God in our midst.

v    The Service of our sisters and brothers through the proclaiming in our lives the liberating power of the cross as the love of God is lived out in our life as Church.

v    The recognition of our unity with all God’s children, especially the poor, the outcast, and the abandoned.

v    The realization of our need to be formed into the likeness of Christ through our ongoing process of discipleship.

Praise to God, for giving us a share in stabling the Kingdom.  Through the power of the Spirit, may we live our covenant through our Words, our Witness, and our Worship.
