Welcome friends!
Saint Aloysius Church 223 Beech Street Pottstown, PA 19464 610-326-5877 A brief history of Saint Aloysius Parish St. Aloysius Parish was the first Catholic Church established in Pottstown, Pennsylvania when the first church building was dedicated in 1856. Our current church building was dedicated in December 1891. The cornerstone of St. Aloysius School was laid in January 1913 and the present rectory was constructed in the early 1900s after a fire destroyed the original. Our parish has over 3,000 registered families, which represents an increase of about 10% over the past two years. Our parish school has 410 students enrolled and our Religious Education Program consists of 300 students. We have numerous ministries and activities that address the spiritual and social needs of our parishioners. Important Information for parishioners sending in Auto Payments Please be aware that many parishioners and school parents are now taking advantage of “auto bill paying” through their banks. We receive payments for Tuition, Sunday Collection, Capital Campaign, Cemetery lots, and our CARES program each week. Unfortunately, many of the payments are being received without documentation as to where to credit the payment. In order to post your payments to the proper account, we are requesting that you please notify your bank to clearly note what the payment is for on the check or on the stub. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Questions may be directed to Regina Brady, Business Manager (610) 326-5877, ext. 112.
