Youth in Action
“The Bishops remind us to see within youth the incredible potential and capacities they have now and to respond to their present and real needs. Youth ministry does not exist because youth are particularly troubled or needy. Youth are growing in ways intended by our loving God. They are encountering the joys and the challenges of life as adolescents in our time. They have wonderful gifts to offer… We minister to youth because we are church and we follow the pattern of Jesus: we respond to needs and empower youth to use and share their gifts.”
As a parish youth, do you have gifts to share? All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join Youth in Action: a service-oriented group right here at St. Aloysius! Our kick-off meeting will be held on Sunday, October 4 in the Parish Center following the 11:30 am Mass. Pizza, music and fun!
We are continuing activities from last year and have added some new and fun events. Come to them all or just choose those that interest you. Bring a friend or attend yourself. Don’t stand on the sidelines! Get involved!

YOUTH IN ACTION - begins its second year of service for those teens interested in making a difference at our parish and the larger community outside of St. Aloysius.
All parish youth [grades 6-12] are invited to join. Please plan to attend our kick-off meeting on Sunday, October 4 in the Parish Center following the 11:30 am Mass. Pizza will be served.
We have compiled a full calendar of new and fun events just for people your age.
You do matter. Come, see for yourself and bring a friend!
